Barn Theatre 2023 Season
In the summer of 2023 I was selected as a member of the Acting Apprentice company for The Barn Theatre! This was my first professional contract and I had many emotions going into it. When not performing, I was trained on how to bartend and learned how multitask even on days of performance. I made some great friends within the company and was a performer in 4 mainstage shows as well as costume crew for 1 show that season
Graduation and Senior Capstone
After my summer at The Barn, I finished my Musical Theatre degree at The University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
At the University, I had to put together a senior capstone and got to choose everything myself along with the guidance of a professor. I chose to do a Barbie-themed capstone around the Barbie toy line "Barbie I Can Be.." where she could be anything she wanted if she put her mind to it.
Within the capstone, I touched on Golden Age, Contemporary, Realism, and even singing and performing pieces from Barbie Island Princess, Barbie and The 12 Dancing Princesses, and The Barbie Movie
The Barn 2024 Season
I returned to The Barn for the 2024 season with 3 other members from my first summer. I met so many great first-year apprentices and got to stay for the full season this summer and fall. I was also asked to choreograph 4 bar shows this season! When not rehearsing, I assisted the bar manager and prepped the bar for nightly shows. In the summer I was a part of 6 Mainstage shows as well as the Fall engagement "The Whistle Pigs Revenge"
